State Farm Agent Jeff Berquist will soon retire, and Amy Jordahl will fill his job.
Jeff’s dad, Lloyd Berquist, was a State Farm Agent as well and Jeff worked for him for about three years, before Jeff became an agent. He’s been an agent with State Farm since Feb 1, 1983. Jeff currently has offices in Silver Bay and Grand Marais. He will be retiring December 31, 2021, and looks forward to hunting, fishing and traveling. He lives in Silver Bay with his wife Julie, and they have a son Eric and daughter, Jill.
Amy currently has a State Farm office in Two Harbors and will transition into adding the Silver Bay & Grand Marais operation, on January 1, 2022. Said Amy, “I have family on the Gunflint Trail and grew up spending my summers on the Gunflint Trail, so I have a special love for the north shore. My team and I are looking forward to serving the folks in our communities all along the north shore.”
Amy and her husband Jason have four children.
