Jean M. (Krause) Lofgren, 84, of Prior Lake passed away peacefully on Friday, May 7, 2021.
Jean was born on July 13, 1936, to Earl Krause and Margaret (Helmerson) Krause. She grew up in Grand Marais and married John Lofgren on September 10, 1955. They had two children, Lynn and John. The Lofgren family lived in Minnetonka until 1974 when they relocated to Rapid City, South Dakota. In 2011 Jean moved to Prior Lake, Minnesota to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn M. Strosnider of Johnson City, Tennessee; her son, John T. (Sherry) Lofgren of Prior Lake, Minnesota; two granddaughters, Denae and Lindsey (Joe); four great-grandchildren, Hailey, Brinley, Noah and James; brother, Larry (Jo Ann) Krause; one niece, Cathy; one nephew, Bill; sister-in-law, Jane Lofgren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, John.
