Jean Louise Jasmin Brune of Grand Marais passed away peacefully on April 27, 2015. She was born October 7, 1960 to Louis and Eleanore Jasmin.
After graduating high school, Jean went on to pursue an associate degree in automotive mechanics. In addition to working on classic cars, Jean also had a modeling career and was a favorite bartender at The Loon in Minneapolis.
She had many talents and interests over the years. Some of her favorites were fishing, animals, berry picking, cooking, and more recently, making fur accessories.
She loved to give to others whenever possible, and will be remembered for her warm smile, unforgettable personality and numerous stories of her youth.
She is preceded in death by father Louis Jasmin, brother John Jasmin, and beloved dog Bob.
She is survived by her mother, Eleanore Jasmin; sister Mary Lou; brothers James, Joseph and Thomas Jasmin; partner Grant Smith and many cherished friends.
