On April 24, I was at my home away from home – the Java Moose. You never know who you’ll meet. Last year I had a great conversation with Karie who used to work at White Pine North.
Yesterday I met Jan. Like myself she is going through a struggle with breast cancer. We had an amazing conversation. Thank you for coming to talk to me, Jan.
Ann is the heart and soul of the Java Moose. Her amazing staff has always made me feel at home in all the years I’ve been going there.
A trip to Grand Marais is not complete if I don’t get to the Java Moose. Thanks for making this Canadian feel at home and for the opportunity to meet such interesting locals.
P.S. Ann and Karie, you wouldn’t be complimenting my highlights right now. I don’t have any hair.
