The Who-What-How of
Aquatic Invasive Animals,
Plants and Pathogens
will be the topic of a special program at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center in Schroeder.
Marte Kitson, aquatic invasive species specialist at Minnesota Sea Grant, will introduce participants to the world of aquatic invasive species and their ecological impacts on Lake Superior. She will give an update on the latest invaders and describe how everyone can get involved in community stewardship projects designed to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.
