Cook County High School seniors are not the only ones graduating this spring. Twelve class of 2009 Northshore Preschool students were launched at a ceremony in St. John’s Hall Wednesday, May 20. They will be future graduates of the high school class of 2022.
Like all graduates, this class has high hopes for its future. Teacher Cheryl Hovde asked each student what he or she would like to be when they grow up and what they would do in that profession, and here are their answers:
• Laura Lee Ashford- Ball: An animal doctor so she can work with cats and dogs.
• Caleb Jamar Benedix: A Customs and Border Protection officerso he can “get bad guys.”
• Isaac Manuel Cuevas: A police officerso he can get money, but he would make sure to not have a dog in his car that might eat his seat.
• Jacob David Dorr: A baker with his mom because he likes to bake chocolate chip cookies with his grandma. • Anna Christine Hay: A detective who will find feathers.
• Ella Grace Anne Hedstrom: A violin player in a concert hall and in a pep band.
• Adrian Henry Robert Howard-Larsen: A wrestler who will wrestle President Obama. • Sean Patrick Moroney: A police officerwho will ride in a car and wait for speeders.
• Greta Rose Roth: A zookeeper who will take care of raccoons, who wash their food. • Jonah Robert Schmidt: A construction worker who will dump sand and dirt from a dump truck.
• RaeAnne Lynn Silence: A hospital worker with her mom, where they will cook cookies.
• Sadie Nicole Wilson: A ballerina who will dance on a big stage.
