Winter Seed Sowing for Native Plants: You don’t need an expensive greenhouse to start many plants in the winter. Come and learn an easy way to begin native plant seeds in a plastic container that is put outside and uses nature to start your seeds growing when the time is right. This is a great way to start plants for pollinators.

Starting Seeds Indoors Under Lights: This is your opportunity to learn how to start seeds indoors under lights. We have a short growing season so you can see what kind of lights might work well for you. How do you set up a seed starting schedule? Come and start some seeds for spring!

Seedy Characters: Vegetable Container Gardening: Do you have limited space but still want to grow some vegetables? Container gardening is a great way to learn about growing vegetables with limited investment.
Hillary will take you through the steps of growing vegetables in containers. Bring a selection of seeds home to start your garden this year.

Plant Propagation: There are a number of techniques you can use to propagate plants using asexual methods. This class will go over some of the basics and then give you the opportunity to start some plants to take home using the procedures you learn. Join us for a fun morning!
