In-Home Support Program in need of service providers

The Cook County In-Home Support Program is looking for part-time independent contractors to assist residents who are elderly or disabled remain in their homes by assisting with homemaking tasks like housekeeping, laundry, and errand running.

“Our program has experienced recent changes in service provider availability, while at the same time, we continue to receive new referrals for individuals in need,” said Anita Jeziah, In-Home Support Program coordinator, Public Health & Human Services. “This gap in coverage is making the need for new service providers more urgent.”

This opportunity offers flexible work times, which are determined between the contractor and the people they serve, as well as competitive wages, and mileage reimbursement in some circumstances.

Anyone interested in becoming an In-Home Support contractor is invited to contact Anita Jeziah at 218-387-3615 or by email: anita.jeziah@ co.cook.mn.us.
