The 3rd Annual Easter Egg Fundraiser for Kids Plus will be held Saturday, March 31 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Community Center.

Once again, there will be photos with the Easter Bunny, indoor ice skating, an Easter egg hunt, refreshments and much more, including an Easter Cake Contest. Community bakers are invited to bring a decorated cake for the contest. Last year there were carrot-shaped cakes, bird’s nests and of course, bunnies!

Goodies are also sought for prizes for the always-enjoyed Cake Walk.

Admission to the event is $10 per family or $5 per child. The drawing for a Cook County prize package will be held at noon. Raffle tickets are $2 each and the prize package includes restaurant gift certificates, a fishing trip, merchandise and more valued at over $1,000 dollars!

All proceeds from the event and raffle benefit Kids Plus, which directly serves Cook County youth through a variety of youth programming.
