Don’t miss this opportunity to work with renowned painter Howard Sivertson during a five-day workshop at the Art Colony.
Sivertson will focus on watercolor techniques that he says will surely expand students’ repertoire. Sivertson will demonstrate the process of watercolor painting for traditional/representational artists. Emphasis will be placed on improving watercolor techniques including value sketches, design, composition, rendering, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry, as well as experimenting with the unexpected flexibility of the medium.
Each morning Sivertson will demonstrate a specific technique of his approach to painting landscape scenes. Students will work individually throughout the afternoon on the technique of the day, and Howard will be available for individual critiques.
