How to wow visitors is topic of upcoming workshop




Cook County Higher Education and the Cook County Visitors Bureau are offering a free customer service training, “How to wow every customer, every time.”

Excellent customer service is vital to an organization’s success and staff training is essential to great delivery. Bob Anderson of Star Performance and Maggie Barnard from the Cook County Visitors Bureau speak on what it takes to provide “top of the line” customer service. This customer service focuses on showcasing Cook County at its best; creating perfect first impressions; professionalism; problem solving; assertive hospitality and more.

On Wednesday, Dec. 15 the workshop will be 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the North Shore campus in Grand Marais. On Thursday, Dec. 16 the training will be 8:30 a.m. to noon at Lutsen Resort. This workshop is free of charge.
