Hovland Arts Festival










Arts, crafts, and music were the order of the day at the Hovland Arts Festival. After enjoying a delicious fish fry at Trinity Lutheran Church, folks were able to appreciate local artwork. Top: David Hahn and Ray Powell of Taylor Falls, MN and the Arrowhead Trail. This is the third year David has sketched young Ray. Left: Michele Hoy was on hand with beautiful hand-dyed scarves. Above: Many of the artists at the Hovland event use natural materials, like these deer antlers in Terry Lewis’s wind chimes.
