Hospital board extends thanks to employees for their service during the COVID-19 pandemic

We recognize the United States and State of Minnesota are facing an unprecedented time in our history with the COVID-19 pandemic. While at the moment we have few cases in Cook County, we recognize the preparation, planning, and immediate response for this situation has been immense. The Board of Directors of North Shore Health would like to recognize and thank our employees for their dedication, diligence, and excellence in caring for the patients, residents, community, and each other.

COVID-19 has changed the way they work; from the way they enter the building, greet our visitors, to the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) they must wear. They do this to protect the individuals they serve. In addition to their daily work and preparing for the pandemic, they are here for our community. They go to work because they know people need them. The community may not be aware of all the effort being made to keep everyone safe.

We would like to take this opportunity to publicly recognize the employees of North Shore Health. We are proud of them and appreciate all they do! We ask the community to join us in thanking them for their service!
