Hopping event draws nice crowd despite the rain

Saturday, June 24 was wet and rainy but 32 people ventured out to come learn about frogs

It was a fun-filled afternoon with frog calls, frog identification, learning about why frogs are declining and how frogs are indicators for water quality. Following inside activities, the group ventured outside in the rain to look for tadpoles and salamander larva. They were successful with both discoveries.

Thank you Lisa Tracy for the expertise in amphibians and for everyone who came to learn. This project was funded by the Clean Water Land and Legacy Fund.
