Jessica Nelson,
undergraduate nursing student at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN was honored on November 7, 2010, with induction into Sigma Theta Tau International, Theta Xi Chapter, Honor Society of Nursing, at The College of St. Scholastica.
Sigma Theta Tau International recognizes nursing students and nurse leaders for scholarship and leadership abilities. Invitation for membership reflects demonstration of superior academic achievement, leadership qualities, high professional standards and commitment to the nursing profession. Family and friends were invited to this recognition ceremony.
The program, Service Learning in Belize,
was presented by PZ Nielsen, RN, MS, FNP, CNS.
Jessica is the daughter of Tom and Patty Nelson of Grand Marais. She is a 2007 graduate of Cook County High School.
