Warm up with holiday refreshments and music, and find the perfect handmade gifts for the ones you love at Last Chance Gallery’s Holiday Market.
The market is November 27 – 29, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The gallery features holiday ornaments, locally made evergreen wreaths and regional fine art and crafts. On Friday the 27, a reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. featuring the annual tree lighting ceremony with caroling at 6 p.m. Pluck and Toot,
our favorite music duo, will be there to warm hearts along with refreshments and a cup of Marcia’s famous glog.
Art demonstrations will be both Friday and Saturday. Stop in between 2 and 3 p.m., when Dick Nelson will be demonstrating his hand printing method. At 4:30 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday, Cheryl Dannenbring will be reading from her new book, Beaver,
Bear and Snow Shoe Hare.
Artist Anna Hess will be available to autograph this book as well as do painting demonstrations.
Don’t forget to bring donations for the local food shelf, or take a few moments for ornament making to benefit North Shore Health Care Foundation. Ten percent of the net proceeds are given to the Cook County Community Fund.
Celebrate the art of living and the art of the season at Last Chance, located in downtown Lutsen (next to Arrowhead Electric and across from the Lockport Store).
