The Grand Portage Community certainly has reason to celebrate the beautiful new Visitors Center at Grand Portage State Park. Here’s what the state park office looked like shortly after the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa took ownership in the 1980s. Before being converted to the park office,it was the Parson family home.
