1963 WISCONSIN AVENUE FLOODS IN GRAND MARAIS Cook County News Herald collections
This photo is from November 1963. The main street in downtown Grand Marais has flooded and logs are floating everywhere. The movie playing at the theater is “The Unforgiven,” starring Burt Lancaster and Audrey Hepburn. The theater was torn down in recent years; the Standard Gas station property has become the Grand Marais Harbor Park.
