GALA DAY FOR THE OLD DULUTH BOAT CLUB
Ed Hedstrom recently shared some Duluth newspapers from the 1920s and 1930s. This photo is from the ROTOGRAVURE SECTION of the Sunday Duluth News Tribune dated April 26, 1936.
The caption reads: This was a gala day for the old Duluth Boat Club at the foot of Sixth Avenue West. Notice the old Lake Front Hotel in the background, the two steamers at the pier, and the sportsmen, including one in a tub.
