STATE PARK DEDICATED
Dignitaries met along the banks of the Pigeon River on September 29, 1990, to dedicate the new Pigeon River State Park. Above (L-R) are Lloyd K. Johnson (property owner), Norman Deschampe (Grand Portage Band), Alden Lind (MN Parks and Trails Council), and Joseph Alexander (MN DNR). Development of the new park will begin in 1993.
