The annual Piano Recital was held on June 11, 1972 and Mrs. Ruby Bade Carlson (piano instructor) presented awards to her students for their achievements during the school year. Receiving the first place award is Lisa Savonen of Taconite Harbor. Other award winners that year were, from left, Kristi Livdahl, Tofte; Colleen Lamb, Schroeder; and Cheryl Hall, Lutsen.
