The valedictorian and salutatorian of the Cook County High School Class of 1961 were Mary Krueger and Leslie Erickson. Both students are from Tofte. The school’s 52nd annual commencement program on June 1 featured State Commissioner Dean Schweickhard as the keynote speaker, and the award of 50 diplomas.
