Some caught ’em — some didn’t! Gary Schlienz was one of the better fishermen — or luckier. He came back with two walleyes, one 12 pounds and one 12 1/2 pounds. Using a Beaver House Jig (a home product) he took the fish in 15 feet of water in Moss Lake. His daughter, Beverly, is gingerly enjoying the catch with her dad in this News- Herald photo published May 22, 1969.
