Historical Reflections

Gloria Martineau shared this photograph of her grandparents, Lois and Sam Linnell, standing in front of their homestead, which used to stand on County Road 14. Martineau remembers that her grandmother always wore an apron. She also remembers that her grandparents raised pigs. The old building is gone now, but it has been immortalized in a number of paintings. She said artists frequently stopped to paint the lovely homestead scene.
