Students at the North Shore Children’s House (Montessori pre-school) held their annual Halloween party on Oct. 30, 1976, which included a visit to the North Shore Nursing Home in Grand Marais where they sang their Halloween songs for the residents. Residents of the nursing home were also treated to piano music performed by the 21 students of Ruby Bade Carlson, local piano instructor.
