The children at the Headstart class of 1969 had their own little commencement program, complete with paper hats and tassels. Mrs. Joy Lacher, the teacher, gave them each a diploma and afterward a cake made to symbolize the occasion was served to the children and their mothers as guests. Pictured with their teacher in this May 29, 1969 photo are, first row from left, Rhonda Wilson, Karen Schultz, Zachary Lindskog, Patricia Pederson; second row from left, Chester Everson, Eileen Tams, Jacqueline McLean, Susan Skrien, Steven Forsberg; third row from left, Timothy McLean, Rory Rosendahl, Daniel Renn, James Taylor and Douglas Wagg. Susie Durham was absent.
