This photo of druggist John McElevey appeared in the Cook County News-Herald on April 18, 1963 as the Peterson Drug Store moved to its new location in the Arrowhead Hotel. Renovation of the hotel space had been taking place over the winter, with Clark McElevey in charge of the work. Druggist John McElevey told the News-Herald that the new space would give the drug store about 70 percent more space. Besides McElevey, the regular employees are Mrs. Jeff Halverson and Mrs. Bernard Skoog. Part time workers are Beverly Olsen and the former storeowner A.L.E. Peterson.
