The 1960 Cook County Fair was a huge success, featuring pony rides and displays of all types of animals – even entries of cattle for the first time in many years! Shown with their rabbits are Virginia and Kathryn Krotz, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Krotz of Maple Hill. Their exhibit was one of four rabbit pens, and won a blue ribbon.
