Eleven Cook County High School students were inducted into the local chapter of the National Honor Society at a candlelight ceremony in the school auditorium on Dec. 12, 1962. The guest speaker was Justine Kerfoot of Gunflint Lodge, who spoke on the characteristics of an educated person.
