Historical Reflections

The local chapter of the Salvation Army continued its tradition of placing Christmas trees in area banks and the credit union in December 1996. The trees are decorated with angels, each handmade and accompanied by a description of a child in need; citizens are then encouraged to take an angel and return with gifts for that child. Shown are Ashley Smith and Miranda Clark, two of the students who made angels for the trees, with one of their creations.
