Historical Reflections








With homecoming festivities being celebrated this week at Cook County High School, we thought it would be fun to take a look back to 1981, when Jeff Sajdak and Nicola Venning were honored as homecoming king and queen. Jeff was a member of the varsity football team, and Nicola was the year’s AFS student from New Zealand and member of the volleyball team. The Vikings defeated the Buhl Bulldogs 40-0 in a game played on a frigid snow-filled night.
