Cook County High School’s varsity cheerleaders in 1995 included, from left, Amelia Iverson, Michele Hess, Shannon Bath and Pam Hess. Interestingly, the Vikings hosted two games during the first week of September, playing teams from Cherry and Cook. In all, the Vikes played three games in just nine days, and had a nine-game season – one more than most of the teams in the Polar North Conference.
