A Brownies Investiture ceremony was held Oct. 11, 1979 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church for 11 new members of the Brownie troop. The girls, 6 and 7 years of age and in the first grade, include, from left, Julie Horen, Lisa Adams, Sara Kidd, Lisa Benson, Julie Larsen, Kari Carlson, Shelly Peterson, Betsy Crosby, Katie Smith, April Hagen and Molly Sommerness. Mrs. Dale Peterson and Mrs. Judy Adams served as adult leaders of the troop.
