Crowned in a ceremony were Queen Elizabeth Border and King Oscar Johnson (seated). Others nominated were, left to right, Lois Nelson, Pauline Quaife, Olive Schuyler, Richard Humphrey (Grand Marais mayor and special guest), A.P. Anderson, Tonnes Hovland and John Isaacson.
