Historical Reflections

This delightful spring picture is shared by Diane Malner Merendo. The note accompanying the photos states that it was taken at the Hospital Auxiliary Hat Luncheon—but we like to think they are Easter bonnets. It is believed that the luncheon was in 1967. Diane remembers that the hat worn by her mom, Irene Malner, was a real cake! The talented hat makers are (L-R) Irene Malner, Jean Thomas, and Char Anderson.
