Santa Claus is coming to town! This Dec. 21, 1992 photo from the News- Herald archives is captioned “Little Tammy Nicolaison made her first visit to Santa’s knee during last week’s American Legion party for kids.” Interestingly, the front-page photo was taken by current News- Herald publisher Deidre Kettunen, who believes Santa was played by Walt Mianowski.
