Hollywood hasn’t called yet, but Rob Hackett of Grand Marais is waiting and willing to listen to all offers.

Months after he entered a contest sponsored by Pepsi and FOX Sports North, his name was drawn and he found he had won four tickets to one of the last Minnesota Twins home games of the season.

“At first I didn’t even remember entering the contest, it was so long ago,” he said.

As part of his prize, Hackett got to announce a short promotional piece for the local FOX affiliate TV station airing the Twins game.

He was flawless in his delivery.

Hackett took two brothers and a friend to the game and they got to sit right behind the Twins dugout. They also got to meet and talk to several Twins players, including Torii Hunter.

“It was a great trip, just a lot of fun,” Hackett said, adding, “And the Twins won!”

As far as his phone, currently calls come from his kids, calls come for his Dairy Queen business, and sometimes-loving calls come from his wife, but so far, no calls have come from Hollywood. But Hackett is waiting.
