Jason Colbert was one of the first golfers off the Putts N Pets mini golf course last Sunday, and his excellent 18-hole score of 39 held up throughout the Fisherman’s Picnic Mini Golf Tournament.
Tied for second in the adult division were Lars Scannell and Jackson Edwards. Each shot a 41. Scannell, like several players, brought his own putter.
Cole Linnell was alone in third place with a score of 42.
Linnea Gesch placed first in the 13 & under division with a great score of 42. Ben Harnell was a close second with a round of 44 and Emma Gesch (Linnea’s sister) and Ian Bromander shot the third-lowest scores by posting 54.
All in all 57 players turned out for a great day of mini golfing. The top three places in each division were awarded cash prizes and everyone seemed to enjoy the challenging course and the antics of dwarf goat Lily and her three children, Clementine, Jelly, and Bucky, who play merrily and madly next to the golf course.
