The Cook County Business and Civic Partnership, the Cook County Chamber’s charitable arm, is inviting groups and individuals to apply for 2021 Great Place project grants.

The Great Place mission is to encourage the creation of small, public great places around Cook County. Since the program started, the program has awarded roughly $85,000, with several dozen grants given throughout the county, said Executive Director Jim Boyd. With this round, Boyd said, “ We will be approaching $100,000 with this year’s grants.”

The foundation will award up to ten grants ranging from $250 to $1,250. Applications are due April 1.

Applications can be found by typing this address into your browser: tinyurl.com/59bfubyo.

You can also email ccchamber@boreal.org to request an application or write to Cook County Partnerships, PO Box 805, Grand Marais MN 55604.
