The annual Great Expectations School greenhouse plant sale and pancake breakfast will be held Saturday, May 19. Pancakes will be served from 8 a.m. until they run out. Plants will be sold from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The plants are wonderful, as Aurora and Annie discovered at a previous plant sale.
It is time once again for the annual Great Expectations greenhouse plant sale and pancake breakfast.
The event will start at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 19. Pancakes will be served from 8 a.m. until they run out and the plant sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Plants for sale include annuals such as amaranth, aster, bacopa, begonia, and cosmos; herbs such as basil, dill, mint, oregano, rosemary and sage; perennials such as delphinium, heliopsis and hollyhock; and vegetables including broccoli, cabbage, cucumber, peppers, and tomatoes.
