Grand Portage Lodge and Casino to host classic car show and rock n’ roll performance



See more than 100 classic cars and enjoy a live performance from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers tribute band Free Fallin’ Saturday, Sept. 21 at Grand Portage Lodge & Casino.

Classic cars will be showcased in the north lot of the casino rain or shine from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public (all ages welcome). Ribs, burgers, brats, baked beans, bottled beer and soda (and more) will be available for purchase during the car show.

To include a car in the show, register your car before Sept. 19 for $10, or the “day of ” from 8 to 11 a.m. in the casino lobby for $15. An awards presentation will be held for registrants at 3 p.m.

Free Fallin’ will perform a free concert/ dance at the Grand Portage Lodge & Casino Event Center from 8 to 11 p.m. Must be over 21 to attend. Drinks will be available for purchase in the Antler’s Lounge. No personal beverage containers allowed.
