Earlier this year Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (SMMPA) recognized the Grand Marais Public Utilities for providing “exceptionally reliable electric service.”
Grand Marais PUC was one of eight SMMPA members to receive a certificate of excellence.
To earn the certificate, utility performance must be in the top quarter for System Average Interruption Duration Index (SADI) as measured by APPA’s reliability Tracker Service.
