Three seniors were recognized for their work with Grand Marais Playhouse on Sunday, November 22 after the last showing of As You Like It. (L-R) Sam Kern, Shae Morawitz and Erica Marxen.
As the Grand Marais Playhouse ended its run of As You Like It, the annual community/ youth production on Sunday, November 22, the Playhouse recognized several Cook County High School students for their participation in community theater, Shae Morawitz, Erica Marxen and Sam Kern. Additionally, Erica and Sam were recognized for their work with the Playhouse, totaling more than eight productions for each of them. The award includes a $200 scholarship.
Playhouse Director Sue Hennessy said, “Congratulations to each senior and thank you for ‘crossing the boards’ with us and for giving your fellow students and your community great theater!”
