Grand Marais Playhouse presents Our Town and more

The Grand Marais Playhouse is proud to present Our Town by Thornton Wilder March 6-9! Show times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 adults and $5 students under 18. Tickets are available on-line at www.grandmaraisplayhouse.com or at the door. Sunday is donation day. Pay any amount for your ticket!

On Sunday, March 9, following the performance, the Grand Marais Playhouse will present its 2014 Excellence in Theater Arts Award to High School Senior Cy Fortunato. Cy has been participating onstage, backstage and assisting in the Playhouse office since 2004 when he was in the Best Christmas Pageant Ever at the age of 7. If you saw Cy in the High School One Act performance The Undercurrent in January, you may not recognize him in his current role of George in Our Town, a testament to his skills as an actor. This is always a bittersweet time as we watch his final performance with the Playhouse and send him off with all the well wishes of this grateful theater community. Congratulations Cy. Thank you!
