The Grand Marais Ole Opry is returning to the Arrowhead Center for the Arts in January, with several local performers and headliners The Roe Family Singers.
The Grand Marais Ole Opry is back!
This year’s event will be held at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts, and will feature an all-new lineup of great musicians playing old-time and classic country music.
Included will be local and regional musicians playing tunes made famous by artists such as Hank Williams Sr., Patsy Cline, The Louvin Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Roger Miller, and many more. Emceed by WTIP’s Classic Country host Carl Solander, this year’s lineup features the groups The Roe Family Singers, Portage, Jim & Michelle Miller, and The Pinemartians (Tom van Cleve, Kate Fitzgerald, Russ Viton, Will Moore, Andy Schmidt, and Amy Schmidt).
This is a popular event, so buying in advance may save a longer-than-usual wait in line. Pre-purchased tickets will be held at the box office. The box office opens at 6:30 p.m., auditorium opens at 7 p.m.
