On August 5 at 1:09 a.m. the Cook County Sheriff ’s Office received a 911 call reporting a possible suicide. Officers responded to 20 7th Ave W., Grand Marais where they found Gary Richard Schaedler, age 55, of Grand Marais deceased.
Theapparent cause of death was a single gunshot wound. The matter is under investigation by the Cook County Sheriff ’s Office.
