Grand Marais Public Library is giving away 30 Takeand Move Art kits right now. We hope to have each one claimed before May 31. Through the kits, we’re encouraging juggling culture, dexterity and lifelong learning for all ages, anyone can have a kit and all the fun that comes with it. Photo courtesy of Amanda St. John

Grand Marais Public Library is sure to inspire spontaneous acts of juggling throughout Cook County as it distributes 30 Take-and-Move Art kits by May 31. Participants of all ages can request a free kit at the library’s front desk or pickup window while supplies last. Call the library to reserve a kit if your next visit to Grand Marais happens later in the month.
Designed by COMPAS Teaching Artist Benjamin Domask-Ruh, the juggling themed kits provide recipients a primer on the ancient art form by introducing its history, science, theory, and beginning technique. Each kit includes three antibacterial handmade Russian-style juggling balls filled with 100g of salt. Additionally, a meticulously crafted insert provides detailed ‘how to juggle’ instructions enhanced with illustrations and diagrams. New juggling skills are rewarded with the ‘World’s Newest Juggler’ sticker that comes in the kit.
