The Grand Marais Garden Club, the longest continuous serving organization in Cook County, will present its 77th annual flower show on Friday, July 15 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Community Center in Grand Marais.

Enjoy strolling among the beautiful flower arrangements depicting our theme while listening to Ann McKenzie on the piano. Take time for refreshments at the silver tea table, which will be available from noon to 4 p.m. Learn about herbs at the Master Gardeners exhibit. Acquaint yourself with Betty Hemstad’s book on wildflowers, which Betty will be displaying and signing.

Area children, our future gardeners, will again have a table where they bring in displays. Encourage your children and grandchildren to participate in this event.

Don’t miss this gala happening. It’s free and open to the public.
