Make some time on your schedule this weekend to take in the 31st Grand Marais Art Festival. The festival will once again be held at the I.S.D. 166 Cook County Schools parking lots.
Spectators and shoppers will have 83 booths and displays to explore. Featured works include ceramics, jewelry, paintings, photography, woodwork, leatherwork, sculpture, glass, fiber, mixed media, and more.
The fair will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, and run until 5 p.m. Hours of operation for Sunday are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year, an added attraction is music and food trucks. For those with kids in tow, the Community Center playground and Sawtooth elementary playgrounds are both nearby. This is a family friendly event with lots to see and explore. See you at the Art Festival!
