The last five years have seen a dramatic and sickening shift in our attitudes towards the law. Politicians used to try to hide their dirty deeds. Now offenses against the Constitution are carried out routinely and blatantly, without fear of any reprimand. We don’t even expect a rationalization anymore. It starts with our nation’s head and trickles all the way down.
Many ignore the issues and go to work applying for more federal grants. Obtaining “free money” is one of the best ways to for politicians to serve the citizens. That way we get our fair share of what’s rightfully ours.
We go along because our county needs a new bridge, a new jail or a road repaired, so we grovel before the King to get our allowance. We’re sure it will help our citizens if we have these projects thriving in our community. It’s called communism.
Franklin D. Roosevelt called it the “New Deal.” Lyndon Johnson called it the “War on Poverty.” Bush called it “compassionate conservatism” and Obama calls it “Affordable Healthcare.” No matter what the propaganda ploys were or are, the final analysis is clear: these programs are all socialism or communism.
When the government controls the land, the jobs, the air, all waterways, industries, pensions, health care, education and the re-distribution of wealth, the conclusion is inescapable: it’s communism! Many of these practices come directly from the United Nations and its implementation of Agenda 21.
It is time to elect statesmen, men and women who are willing to put America first, starting with our local elections, then state and federal. They each “pledge to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.” Let’s hold them to that pledge.
If they don’t, elect someone who will in the next election.
